surgery follow-up

Eric had his follow-up appointment from his surgery yesterday. He had an ultrasound and we met with the urologist. The doctor says he has no swelling and everything looks great. He can finally come off the antibiotics in March (happy birthday to him!) and he has one more ultrasound next January. What a relief to finally be closing the book on this issue. It has been a long road and we've been through a lot but we are happy to have a healthy child and to not have to go to the doctors as often anymore. Also, after 4 weeks of hard work I can say that he is successfully re-toilet trained. It was much more difficult this time and he's just started making it through the night within this last week but he is doing awesome and we're so proud of him because it was not easy. He is such a trooper. Now if we could just get him to sleep more....
