Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a busy day. I spent the day baking and cleaning the house while Eric was working a half a day. We went to my sister's house for dinner and presents and then we went from there to Eric's Auntie Linda's house to end the evening.



Eric showed us that he was going to be a pro at opening presents. He tore through them. At first he would want to check out each toy but if we asked him, "Do you want another present?" He would say, "Yeah!" and then ditch the present that he just opened. (BTW I don't know why my sister looks like a ghost in this picture!)

At Auntie Linda's, Santa comes for the kids. We were really looking forward to this because Eric is absolutely obsessed with Santa these days. However, this Santa was... shall we say, extra jolly and he scared Eric. The interesting part is that the past two years Uncle Mike's brother is the one that dresses as Santa. When he's done and in plain clothes afterwards we swear Eric knows that he was Santa. Last year it was just a look but this year he just kept pointing at him and saying, "Santa Claus!" He's a smarty!
