Florida trip-Friday, 11/11/11

On Friday we went to the Magic Kingdom. The little guy was looking forward to seeing Mickey so much that we wanted to make sure we got there the first day. This was the first time I've been to the Magic Kingdom when it was decorated for Christmas. It was so pretty despite the fact that it felt a little early to be preparing for Christmas! When we left in the morning it was only in the 40s and only got up to the mid 60s that day but there wasn't a cloud in the sky. The little guy loved the Magic Kingdom. It took a little bit of time for him to warm up to the place but once he figured out what it was all about he couldn't get enough. He loved the show they had in front of the castle with all the characters and there were fireworks at the end of the show to make it even better. They also had a dance party in the street that he loved. I think his favorite ride was the Buzz Lightyear ride where you sit in a car and spin it around and shoot a lazer at the bad robot. He still talks about it. He did fall asleep on the Tom Sawyer steamboat ride but he just took a quick catnap and was ready to enjoy the rest of the day. My favorite part was when they lit up the castle at the end of the night. I took a great video of it but blogger says it is too big to upload to the blog :(. I will try to post it on FB instead.
