We flew out of TF Green airport on Thursday morning around 9:30. We weren't sure how the little guy would do and we were at the doctors the day before because he was complaining that his ear hurt so we were worried about how the flight would affect his ears. I knew that daddy would make it a fun adventure for him as he does with everything we do so I was confident that he would do ok. We brought his carseat on the plane because the FAA recommends that kids sit in a carseat on the plane. Plus we needed a car seat anyway for the rental car. It also served a good purpose because it kept him in one spot and provided him the comfort as if he were in the car in his carseat. He was the only kid on the plane in a car seat but after seeing the other parents struggling with their children on the plane ride (especially one little girl who was lap sitting) I was happy that he was in his car seat. We got to the airport early which gave the little guy time to be able to see the planes taking off and get comfortable with the whole thing.
Here he is checking out the airplanes

He was very excited to be on the plane!

The little guy ended up doing an awesome job on the plane. He played games and looked at books on my nook for half of the plane ride and then fell asleep for the second half. He was so good that when we were getting off the plane, the woman in front of us turned around and told us that she didn't even realize he was back there!
We picked up our Ford Focus at the airport and drove to my parent's timeshare in Kissimmee. When we got there my mom took the little guy swimming and my dad and Eric went for a walk around the timeshare while I rested because I didn't sleep well the night before (well the whole trip actually!). That night we went out to dinner at the new restaurant at the timeshare and then went to bed to get ready to go to the Magic Kingdom on friday.
